Why is it important to have regular eye exams?
It is important to monitor your eye health because early detection and treatment may minimize and prevent damage caused by certain eye diseases and vision disorders. These problems may cause disability, pain, decreased productivity, and even loss of sight.

Moreland EyeCare can perform eye exams required for your child’s school, such as kindergarten screening. One in four children has a vision problem that may interfere with learning and development. This is why our younger patients receive special attention.
Children should have their first eye examination between six to twelve months of age. If no problems are noted during the exam, children should be examined again at age 3 and then again before entering school.
Our opticians make sure that your child selects a comfortable, secure frame that will suit whatever needs he or she has. Our goal is that your child be involved in the frame selection process and that he or she leaves happy with their choice.
